Document Retention

This project was started as part of an intra-company (Syngenta) Gen-AI hackathon, in a team of 4 members.

The project was about designing an AI that would automatically detect which company-wide documents have exceeded their expiry date and alert the admin to delete them, reducing repetitive, manual paperwork. Other features like editing of retention schedule rules and an LLM chatbot to interact with the tool, were also included.

The team completed the basic framework of this project in 3 days for submission in the hackathon.

The company liked it enough to tell us to continue developing it and adding more features, even after the hackathon had ended.
